It acts as a barrier to catch larger contaminants in the air, and therefore protecting the HEPA filter from unnecessary contaminants.<\/p>\n<p>Carbon filter<\/p>\n<p>This is a carbon filter that is installed on top of the pre-filter and the Primary filter. It is only used in fire damage and smoke odour removal jobs. Air scrubbers are only effective at removal smoke odour with the carbon filter.<\/p>\n<p>We have a stock of pre-filters and carbon filters available for purchase with the hiring unit at our warehouse.
